With Each Tomorrow Review: A Christian Romance Treasure

I dove into *With Each Tomorrow by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse (Bethany House, 2024), the second book in their Jewels of Kalispell series, and it swept me away! This Christian historical romance, set in 1904 Kalispell, Montana, follows Eleanor Briggs, a spirited young woman working alongside her father to fulfil his conservation dreams; and Carter Brunswick, a kind-hearted young man with big hopes for his life and business. Their journey is filled with faith, hope, and a touch of adventure. Fans on Instagram and Goodreads are raving about its heartfelt story and vivid characters. In this With Each Tomorrow review, I share why this book warmed my heart and why it’s a must read for fans of clean, uplifting romance.

What I Loved

The Story’s Flow

Peterson and Woodhouse have a knack for pulling you into their world—like curling up by a fire with a good book! Their writing paints Kalispell so vividly, I could feel the crisp Montana air. The pacing is gentle, perfect for savoring the heartfelt moments. Though the longest book in the series, every chapter bursts with details, history, and emotion that kept me hooked!

The People I Met

Eleanor (Ellie) is my kind of heroine—determined, faithful, and full of heart. I cheered for her as she fought for her father’s dream and figuring out her own challenges of the heart. Carter, with his kind spirit and big ideas, stole the show, and their frenemies to more chemistry had me smiling. I enjoyed that some of the townsfolk from book 1 were also in this book, it made Kalispell feel familiar.

What It’s About Deep Down

This book weaves themes of hope, trust in God, and chasing dreams into a story that feels like a warm embrace. Ellie’s faith journey touched my heart, never feeling imposing. The romance is sweet and clean, ideal for slow-burn love story fans. The challenges they face kept me turning pages, though some twists were expected. The focus on legacy and community adds a unique, inspiring layer.

Who Should Read This Book?

It’s perfect for readers craving uplifting tales, appealing to both teens and adults, though themes of loss and struggle may resonate more deeply with older readers.
