Young Living Essential Oil Bottles and Hydrosol bottle

Looking for a natural and easy way to encourage your hair health and growth?! This Healthy Hair Spritz essential oil recipe packs a punch with 3 hair-loving essential oils: Lavender, Rosemary, and Cedarwood. And one luxurious hydrosol: Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood. Not only is this concoction amazing support for healthy hair, it also smells wonderful. Try adding it to your daily hair care routine to encourage your hair and scalp to be as healthy as possible! Check out how simple this is – you only need 4 ingredients and a few minutes of your time!

Essential Oils for Healthy Hair:

  • Rosemary Essential Oil helps to strengthen hair follicles, thus helping to protect hair from damage and breakage. (To learn more about the benefits of rosemary essential oil, see my detailed post here.)
  • Lavender Essential Oil supports overall scalp and hair health by helping to keep hair shafts and follicles clean. It is also calming to irritated skin and may help soothe itchiness. (To learn more about the benefits of lavender essential oil, see my detailed post here.)
  • Cedarwood Essential Oil works to balance the oil producing glands in the scalp, which hopefully means less washing which in turn means less wear and tear on your locks.
  • Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood hydrosol will help to nourish, hydrate, and moisturize your scalp and hair. This luxurious hydrosol is refreshing and soothing.

Directions:

1. Add 30 drops each of Rosemary, Lavender, and Cedarwood essential oils to the Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Hydrosol.

Extra Ways To Support Hair Health and Growth:

If you are looking for ways to support your body for healthy hair from the inside out, I have three recommendations for you to check out! I have personally seen results of healthier hair and new hair growth while using these supplements consistently.

  1. NingXia Red, which is a powerful antioxidant super food drink that protects against free radical damage. It contains flavinoids, amino acids, 21 trace minerals, beta-carotene, vitamins B and E! Our bodies need all these things to produce healthy hair. (check out this post for more NingXia Red details)
  2. Mineral Essence is a way to add even more B vitamins, trace minerals, and magnesium into your body; take it with your NingXia Red to bring it up a notch!
  3. Sulfurzyme is an MSM supplement that helps the body produce glutathione, which helps boost collagen and keratin production. Collagen and keratin are what gives hair its strength and durability.
