This red, white, and blue no-bake cheesecake recipe is perfect for any patriotic gathering! We especially love it for July 4th, because it is a cool and light dessert, and it’s topped with fresh berries. It is perfect for our sweltering July days here in the sticky south! No-bake is also appreciated, since I don’t have to heat up the kitchen with the oven to bake this cheesecake. It is super simple to whip up, and children will love to join in – especially for decorating the top with berries!! I make this cheesecake very thin. If you want this to be thick like a traditional cheesecake, then you should double the filling recipe OR use a 9 inch pie pan instead of the 9X13 inch dish this recipe calls for. Now that I have that info out of the way, let’s get started!
This red, white, and blue no-bake cheesecake recipe calls for: cream cheese, Tru Whip, sugar, butter, graham crackers, and berries.
Ingredients Needed:
- 2 cream cheese bricks
- 16 oz Tru Whip
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 package graham crackers
- 1/2 stick butter
- fresh strawberries and blueberries
Red, White, and Blue No-Bake Cheesecake Recipe:
1: Allow Tru Whip to defrost and cream cheese to soften. (usually an hour or so)
2: Add 2 cream cheese bricks to a large mixing bowl, along with 1/2 cup of sugar; beat on high until smooth and creamy.
3: Add 16 oz Tru Whip to the cream cheese mixture; beat on medium until combined.
4: In a 9X13 glass pan, add 1/2 stick of melted butter and 1 package of finely crushed graham crackers; combine with a fork until completely moist, then press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
5: VERY carefully drop the cream cheese filling over the crumbs and spread evenly. This is a little tricky, because the crumbs are so loose. Be cautious and take your time!
6: Cover and refrigerate overnight.
7: The next day, remove from the refrigerator and decorate as desired. If you will not be immediately serving, recover and place back into the refrigerator to keep it fresh. Refrigerate any leftovers.
