Gluten-Free Cookies In A Jar Recipe:
1: In a clean and dry wide mouth quart glass canning jar add the ingredients in the order listed:
- 1 cup King Arthur 1:1 GF All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
2: Firmly push down the added ingredients.
Do this BEFORE topping off with the add-ins. This will give a little more head space so that there’s plenty of add-in goodness on top.
3: Top off the jar with desire add-ins.
My boys like this with all chocolate chips, I like it with chocolate chips, raisins, and pecans. Do what suits you or the person receiving this best. You should be able to fit about 1 1/2 cups of add-ins into the jar.
4: Secure the lid and decorate.
If desired you can adorn the jar with fabric, lace, and/or ribbons to make it festive. You can also attach the baking instructions. (see free printable below, or copy them by hand)
5: Enjoy, or give as a gift.
