Come find out our favorite fall picture books for children! Cozy up with a quilt on the sofa and enjoy reading together.
Fall picture books are something that we look forward to when the weather begins to cool. Although we are well into our homeschool year and getting into a nice daily rhythm, when fall comes, we enjoy changing things up a little and doing some things we don’t do any other time of the year. Like making our annual pumpkin cake, putting together a fall puzzle on Thanksgiving Day, leaf rubbings, and of course reading our favorite fall picture books! (Our personal family preference is to not celebrate Halloween, and sometimes it can be a little tricky to find fall books that do not contain reference to Halloween. So if that is the same for your family, I want you to know that every book below is Halloween free.) You will find delightful illustrations and topics in this book list; as well as some newer books and classics.
Happy fall and happy reading!
