My easy chocolate chip muffins recipe yields 12 standard size muffins. It is quick to make, and using muffin cups makes clean-up a breeze! This recipe calls for common kitchen ingredients. It is a great beginner baking recipe – kids love joining in on this one! These chocolate chip muffins are perfect for a sweet-tooth breakfast, snack, or even dessert! Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cup of All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
- 2/3 cup of Cane Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup of Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup of Whole Milk
- 1/4 cup of Olive or Avocado Oil
- 2 Eggs
(For this recipe you will need a medium sized mixing bowl, measuring spoons, measuring, cups, whisk, 12 count muffin cups and baking dish.)
Easy Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe:
1: Sift the dry ingredients into a medium sized mixing bowl: all-purpose flour, baking powder, sea salt, and cane sugar.
2: Gently stir to incorporate all the dry ingredients, then make a well in the center for the wet ingredients.
3: Add the wet ingredients into the well: whole milk, olive oil, and eggs.
4: Use a whisk to combine all the ingredients together.
5: Stir in the mini chocolate chips just until incorporated.
6: Line 12 muffin cups with parchment paper muffin liners.
7: Evenly distribute the batter into the 12 muffin cups.
8: Bake in a pre-heated 375 degrees oven for approximately 18 minutes. (Be careful not to over bake, as chocolate chips burn easily.)
