This chocolate cheesecake recipe is a family favorite at our home! Someone inevitably requests this for a birthday or special occasion several times a year. I love that it is quick and easy to create; and that I do not have to use my oven. It is the perfect dessert for a hot day – especially if there’s a chocolate craving to be met! Make sure you have the necessary ingredients so that you can enjoy this dessert with your loved ones too!

This no-bake chocolate cheesecake recipe uses 6 ingredients: cream cheese, Tru Whip, sugar, chocolate chips, graham crackers, and butter.

Ingredients Needed:

  • 2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese bricks
  • 1 Tru Whip
  • 1 bag Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package of graham crackers
  • 1/2 stick of butter

1: Gather all necessary ingredients and tools.

2: Allow cream cheese and Tru Whip to come to room temperature.

3: Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar with an electric mixer until smooth.

4: Add all the Tru Whip to the cream cheese mixture, then beat until completely combined.

5: Melt a bag of chocolate chips in a heat safe bowl.

6: Add melted chocolate to cheesecake mixture and beat until fully combined. (Scrape sides of bowl if necessary.)

7: In pie pan, add 1/2 stick of melted butter and 1 package of crushed graham cracker crumbs.

8: Mix until completely combined, and press into the bottom and sides of the pan.

9: Add the chocolate cheesecake mixture into the crust and smooth.

10: Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Best if overnight. Serve and enjoy!!

(Remember to refrigerate any leftovers.)
